Kabul, Afghanistan – An ISAF UH-60 helicopter crashed in southern Afghanistan today resulting in deaths of seven American military service members, three members of the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF), and one Afghan civilian interpreter.
ISAF Headquarters in Kabul said the investigations have begun to determine further details of the incident.
Department of Defense confirmed on Thursday that 7 American soldiers were killed in the incident.
DoD official told NBC that the helicopter was completely destroyed in the crash impact.
